The old Allis Chalmers organisation made numerous other pump types that Tuff Pumps has not deemed necessary to fully produce as “equivalent” product ranges, however, the V Series is based on the original VTSC/VTMC/VTLC range and many “equivalent” and “interchangeable” pumps and parts for the “M & H” versions of the 5”, 7”, 14”, 16”, 20” and 24” are available from Tuff Pumps.

A typical pump designation would have been an M7x3 VTSC-5 and this would mean a M (medium capacity), 7” bowl size pump with a 3” discharge column, a short vane impeller, and 5 stages. Whilst the V Series has not yet been designated as a full range, the equivalent V Series Pump would be a VM7x3 SC-5 Pump.
